When? Why? How?

Those were the questions that filled my curious mind as a child. Every answer I received quickly turned into a new question. Maybe I seemed a bit annoying… but really, I just wanted to understand. I was especially fascinated by the machinery of the human body, captivated by its structured, coordinated design—a masterpiece of precision in every detail.

Driven by this fascination, I chose to study biological sciences in College. After completing my degree, I found myself at a crossroads, questioning the purpose of my life, the reason for my existence on this Earth. That’s when I encountered Livingstones International Ministries (MILIS), an organization dedicated to empowering leaders with a blend of spiritual values and a vision for positive change.  The teachings on spirituality and leadership not only answered my questions, but they transformed my perspective on life, deepening my commitment to my calling.

Yet one question still lingered. In the scientific circles where I worked, many of my colleagues saw anything that defied logical explanation as simply the product of chance, or determinism. There was—and still is—a tension between scientists who see a higher power in the universe and those who don’t, with some using science to argue for a Creator and others to refute one. My spiritual background helped me see it differently. I began to understand that everything has an origin, a guiding principle, as expressed in the words:

There was—and still is—a tension between scientists who see a higher power in the universe and those who don’t, with some using science to argue for a Creator and others to refute one. My spiritual background helped me see it differently. I began to understand that everything has an origin, a guiding principle, as expressed in the words:

"In the beginning was the Word (Logos), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that has been made."
— John 1:1-3

To me, this means that all of existence carries the imprint of this divine principle, this logic. I began to see science not merely as a collection of facts and theories but as a way to uncover traces of the divine woven into the very fabric of the world. Science and spirituality, I realized, were not opposites, but two paths that, if followed earnestly, lead to the same destination: the infinite.

Any honest exploration - Whether through microscope or telescope…When done without bias, will lead you to the Creator of All Things. Don't let faith shape your science or let science shape your faith. Rather, explore the world informed by both and prepare to be astounded.

Each day, this contemplative journey lets me glimpse the divine through the lens of science and medicine. I’ve started this blog as an invitation to share that journey with you—to explore the divine beyond theological descriptions. Join me in this exploration, and perhaps, like me, you’ll find yourself amazed by what you discover.
